President John Dramani Mahama has sworn in the first batch of Ghana’s newly appointed ambassadors and high commissioners at a ceremony held at the Jubilee House in Accra.

Among the appointees are Alhaji Abdul Nasiru-Deen, who heads to Ankara, Turkey, and Alhaji Hammed Rashid Tunde Ali, Ghana’s new Ambassador to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. Their appointments reflect Ghana’s commitment to balanced representation and the promotion of interfaith diplomacy on the global stage.

The full list of envoys includes seasoned public servants, academics, and diplomats selected to represent Ghana’s interests across key global regions. The President charged the appointees to deepen Ghana’s bilateral and multilateral relationships while promoting trade, security cooperation, and cultural exchange.
