Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested a Pastor of Omega Prophetic Prayer Ministry, based in Sapele, over allegations of defilement, rape, and sexual assault.
The pastor, identified as Daniel Ololo, based in Sapele, was alleged to have had carnal knowledge of three sisters of the same mother who are members of his church.
The command’s spokesperson, Bright Edafe, said the police received a petition against the pastor on allegations of defilement, rape, and sexual assault.
He said on November 17, the suspect was arrested at his church premises.
He said investigation revealed that the pastor allegedly used fake prophecy to lure vulnerable church members to his church’s office, coercing them into believing that if he did not have sex with them, they would not be delivered.
According to him, further investigation revealed that he had carnal knowledge of three sisters of the same mother who are his church members, adding that his last victim is aged 17.
Edafe said the suspect is in custody while investigation is ongoing.
