
The Governing Board of the Zongo Development Fund (ZoDF) has successfully held its maiden meeting at the Fund’s headquarters on October 23, 2025. The session, chaired by Sarki Alhaji Salisu Maude, marked an important milestone in advancing the Fund’s mission to transform Zongo communities across Ghana through inclusive and sustainable development initiatives.
During the meeting, the Board discussed strategic measures to strengthen the institutional framework of the Fund and ensure efficient delivery of its core mandates. Key agenda items included the implementation of President John Dramani Mahama’s Reset Agenda, focusing on education, infrastructure, entrepreneurship, and social inclusion within Zongo communities.
The Chairman emphasized the need for transparency, accountability, and innovation in driving community-led development. He commended the government’s renewed commitment to Zongo progress and called on stakeholders, traditional leaders, and youth groups to collaborate with the Fund in achieving lasting results.
The meeting concluded with a strong call to action: to empower Zongos through visionary leadership and practical initiatives that uplift lives and foster national unity.
