The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, in partnership with Ghana-based Markaz Aleawn Alyaqin Humanitarian Service, has distributed relief items to 5,000 needy Ghanaian Muslims under its Eta’am Basket Project.
Each of the 5,000 food baskets contained essential items, including rice, maize, beans, oil, salt, tomato packs, and spices.
According to Ismail Muhammad Kamil, Executive Director of Markaz Aleawn Alyaqin Humanitarian Service, the initiative aims to support vulnerable Muslim families during Ramadan, ensuring they can observe the holy month without worrying about their next meal.
“We distribute these items to alleviate the suffering of the needy,” Kamil explained in an interview with Hafiz TV. “Many families struggle to access basic food items, so our support provides them with sustenance for several days.”
