Adenta High Council Supports Mercy Orphanage

The Adentan Municipal High Council of Zongo and Tribal Chiefs has paid a courtesy visit to the Mercy Islamic School and Orphanage, located within the Mercy Social Centre in Adenta, Accra. During this visit, the delegation of Chiefs donated GH₵5,000 to the orphanage’s daily operations.

Wuro Adamu Salifu Haruna, the President of the High Council, urged the students to strive for academic excellence and to make positive choices. Sheikh Sani Nakambo, the Chairman General of the council, encouraged the students to adopt good habits from their peers. Sarki Abaari Razak motivated the orphaned students to maintain a positive outlook, reminding them that they have the support of the High Council.

The students and staff of Mercy Islamic School expressed their gratitude to the council for their generous gesture. Mr. Tamim Iddriss, Director of Mercy Senior High School, conveyed heartfelt appreciation to the Chiefs for the uplifting and empowering moments they shared with the students.v
