Lakeside University College has been selected as one of five African universities to participate in the Qatar University-African Universities Business Schools Project, a prestigious initiative to enhance academic excellence.
The project, which includes a curriculum transformation component, seeks to equip beneficiary institutions with the tools and expertise necessary to produce graduates better suited to meet the evolving demands of the modern workforce.
According to Dr. Mohammed Sani Abdulai, President of Lakeside University College, the partnership aligns with the institution’s mission to produce world-class graduates. “Our goal is to build graduates equipped with the skills and knowledge to impact society positively,” he stated.

Habib Mahama, Facilitator and Professor of Accounting at Qatar University, emphasised the project’s focus on societal impact. “By transforming the curriculum, we’re ensuring that graduates are job-ready and can contribute to the development of their communities,” he noted.
