The Mercy Social Center, a subsidiary of the Direct Aid Society Ghana, has donated educational materials worth 150,000 cedis, including books, uniforms, sewing machines, and various stationery items. This donation was made to the Mercy Islamic Cluster of Primary, Junior High, and Senior High Schools, as well as the Al Rahma School Complex, all located in the Adentan Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

According to officials from the Mercy Social Center, this initiative is part of their annual corporate social responsibility program aimed at enhancing the quality of education. Mr. Ali Abdul Salaam Ali, the Director of the Mercy Social Center, reiterated their commitment to supporting education and emphasized the importance of providing quality education to shape the future of Ghanaian Muslim youth.

During the ceremony, Madam Epiphany, a career teacher representing the cluster of schools, expressed gratitude for Direct Aid’s ongoing support of education, noting that this donation will significantly improve the students’ learning experience.

Dignitaries present at the ceremony urged the public not to rely solely on Direct Aid initiatives. They encouraged individuals with the capacity to support education to also lend a helping hand.
